The Guesthouse is less than 5 minutes off the N4 highway, between Johannesburg and the Kruger National Park, providing Travelers with secure, clean and affordable accommodation. Pat's Place is only two and a half hours drive from OR Thambo Airport (JHB) and almost two hours away from the famous Kruger National Park making the guesthouse the perfect stop over for an early start if you are on your way to the Kruger National Park, or the equally famous Blyde River Canyon only three and a half hours away.
Our old fashioned style 'home away from home' establishment offers you a choice of rooms to suit your requirements from Double and Twin rooms to Family rooms and two fully equipped Self-catering units - a good reason to make this your base if you want to explore the Highland Meander and the interesting surroundings. Scenic drives takes you to places like Dullstroom, Nelspruit, Baberton, Sabie, Graskop, Pilgrims-Rest and Swaziland.
We offer a small, but tasty Menu From Breakfast, Light Meals to Fish, Chicken and Steaks. Apart from the Braai area where guests can enjoy a nice braai outside,we also have a communal kitchen for guests who would like to prepare their own food
